trauma-informed yoga facilitation training

yoga teacher training programs

We believe that while not all yoga or movement classes need to be trauma-informed, all movement facilitators and space-holders should have an understanding of trauma-informed practices and why they're so important.

trauma-informed yoga facilitation training: for yoga teachers, MH professionals and many others

Our facilitator training teaches trauma-informed principles through the lens of trauma-informed yoga practice.

Whilst the training is grounded in yoga, these principles are directly applicable to any movement or somatic discipline - from coaching and personal training to Pilates - and easily to many other practices - teaching, psychology, parenting alike.

what you'll learn

Through experiencing and practising trauma-informed yoga, you'll understand how traumatic stress affects the nervous system and embodiment, then learn to apply those principles authentically within your unique practice.

We explore choice-making, predictability, non-coercion and the neurobiology of safety - not as abstract concepts, but as embodied experiences that inform how you hold space in your work.
